Andi / SMCx at VanCAF this weekend!

Hey B.C!! Missed me on the East Coast? Well, come on down to VanCAF this Saturday and Sunday (10am-6pm & 11am-5pm respectively) at Roundhouse Mews and check out some comics, look at some art, attend some panels, and have a chat with me! VanCAF, as always, is totally free, so come on over!

I’ll be at Table E1 (that’s right at the front of Hall 1 facing the entrance), so I shouldn’t be too hard to find! There will be Jedville(s), if you didn’t manage to pick up a copy at TCAF before I sold out, as well as our other zine titles, badges, and art cards!

Plus – if you’re participating in the ConQuest mobile game while you’re there, one of the lil’ prizes is an American Spirits badge!

SMCx / Andi at TCAF!

Are you ready for the biggest comic arts festival of the season? Come on over, Canada, and check out Sorry Mom Comix (and yours truly!) at the Toronto Comic Arts Fest! I’ll be at Table 247 in the main TCAF building (the Toronto Reference Library) in the Salon, nested with some awesome fellow queer n’ punk comic artists! Look out for my name (Andi Santagata, the long unpronounceable one), and come hear me read at the TCAF Queer Mixer at 7PM that Saturday night!

I’ll also be debuting Jedville, 2nd Edition at the Fest, so don’t forget to come pick up a copy!

Review of Trans Man Walking #1 at Women Write About Comics!

“I was empathizing (especially with the comic about hair), recognizing the complicated nature of transphobia and masculinity, and enjoying Santagata’s efficient and cutting punchlines all at once—an incredible range for such a short zine!”

Alenka Figa writes all about TMW #1 at Women Write About Comics! Check out her thorough dissection of the zine, and its debut at Chicago Zine Fest last week, here!
